The 4th to the 8th of March is officially National Apprenticeship Week. Here at SBS EPOS we like to celebrate this week as we have had many successful apprentices over the years. This is the 12th National Apprenticeship Week and is designed to look at the benefits and experiences an apprentice is likely to have.
In April 2018, Reece, started an apprenticeship in Customer Services and looks set to complete this in May 2019. The skills learnt from this apprenticeship have given Reece the skills to manage his role in front line support.
We spoke to Reece about his experience during his apprenticeship:
I feel as though my apprenticeship has been a great way to integrate my learning with my employment. I have meetings on a monthly basis, which makes the workload manageable and allows me to apply in job experiences to my apprentice work.
Hayley completed her business administration apprenticeship in 2017 and has since put the skills learned into good use. Hayley has continued her work with the company and is now in the Marketing department.
I enjoyed doing my apprenticeship as it gave me the perfect journey from college into full time employment. I love my role in marketing and feel that I learned a lot of skills in the apprenticeship that I can use in my daily tasks.
We look to continue our support for the apprenticeship scheme in the future.
